If Quasimodo’s brain seems to be the result of his “failed body,” its description reminds me of someone who is driven by his reptilian brain only. His failed brain causes a pathological lack empathy, a clear lack of moral compass, and an inflated ego. Doesn’t it sound suspiciously like one of the presidential candidates?
Si le cerveau de Quasimodo semble provenir de son « corps manqué », sa description me rappelle quelqu’un mû uniquement par son cerveau primitif. Son cerveau manqué provoque chez lui un manque d’empathie pathologique, un manque évident de sens moral, et un égo boursouflé. Cela ne ressemble-t-il pas étrangement à l’un des candidats à la présidence ?
